Roy came to RLS as an
owner of a small start up marketing company. Although his company
was growing, his income wasn’t. Roy had previously been a successful
marketing professional commanding a very high six figure salary, yet
in his own business, he was only able to pay himself $30K. Roy
wanted to continue in his start up, but had to generate more cash
flow to support his family. He needed the security of full time
employment and knew his marketing skills were in demand in the city.
After tapping all of his own contacts without results, he turned to
RLS to solve this problem.

An archived spot
opportunity in the RLS database dating back to December 2003 proved
to be the right lead to follow up on. A local marketing company
announced a partnership with 2 worldwide film distributors. As a
result, RLS knew the company was in growth and expansion mode, but
no jobs were listed on the company website. Without his consultant,
Roy would have considered the lead dead.

picked up the phone and called the CEO. We had a great conversation
and just as you predicted, they have been looking for someone with
my skill set.” I couldn’t believe a job might come from a source
like this, but it sure did! After receiving their written offer, I
used your negotiating techniques and got a 25% increase above their
initial offer, stock options and more vacation time.
