Thinking About a Christmas Job
The other day it struck me. Christmas is coming soon! Too soon, perhaps. Like pretty much every other person in this economy, I am feeling rather strapped for cash. And especially like others around my age, I am worried about affording gifts on top of my rent, utilities, food, car payment, insurance, and grocery bills. What I need this year is a christmas graduate job. I’m not too picky, although I have my degree, I am willing to work in a department store or maybe a mall in order to make ends meet this season. I might like to work in a bookstore, or a calendar or game shop. Even one season as a photographer’s assistant might be interesting, helping kids meet Santa or helping entire families get their picture taken for holiday cards. Just something to bring in some money for the holidays!
